Dana began agility in 1991 with an unlikely breed, a 6 month old Bernese Mountain Dog named Riley.  Through agility she was introduced to an entirely different way to train, using reward based methods rather than the punitive techniques that were the standard of the day. She quickly discovered the huge benefits of marker training...dogs that were willing partners and participants, who happily looked forward to training sessions...no matter what they were being asked to learn.

In 1999 Dana took her passion for training and competing and opened K9s In Motion, Inc. a full time dog agility training business in the Chicagoland area.  Since then, she has trained and shown many of her dogs at the top levels in the sport, achieving National and International success.  Her dogs have included those from the working, herding, toy and terrier groups...and a very special little mixed breed named "Tangle".
